An Athens man accused of selling a rock of crack cocaine in 2014 has been arrested on a charge of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, Athens Police Chief Floyd Johnson said.

Bruce Lee Thompson, 37, of 700 Fifth Ave., Apt. P-47, was arrested early Tuesday on a warrant obtained in May 2014, Johnson said.

Thompson is accused of selling a crack rock on Westmoreland Avenue in Athens in March 2014, the chief said.

Thompson was booked at the Police Department and transferred to the Limestone County Jail.
