Auburn police seek burglar who robbed Salvation Army center

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) — Police in Auburn are seeking a burglar wanted for stealing cash after breaking into a Salvation Army donation center.

The Opelika-Auburn News reports (http://bit.ly/1Lb8L4b ) a video surveillance camera recorded images of the burglar. The Auburn Police Division says the man caused more than $1,000 in damage and took an undisclosed amount of money during the break-in Monday.

Police says the suspect appears to about 30 to 40 years old and about 250 pounds. Video shows him in a purple shirt with blue jeans and white shoes.
