Some got serious, some got silly, but almost every officially-verified pop culture personality got sentimental in their hashtagged sayonaras (#JonVoyage) to the now former Daily Show host, Jon Stewart.
Even politicians who spent 16 years as his punchlines paid tribute to Stewart via Twitter as the millennial’s answer to Walter Cronkite signed off for the last time Thursday night.
