Huntsville MedFlight pilot Mike Vaughn, flight nurse Kim Hellums and paramedic Chris Allen answered questions about the rescue helicopter Thursday at the Limestone County Career Technical Center.

The crew touched down behind the tech school to give a presentation to the health sciences, public safety and firefighting students.

MedFlight’s Thursday appearance is part of a renewed effort among the first responder courses to give students hands-on experiences, according to health sciences director Samantha Fleming.
