He is the grandson of Guinn and Tammy Laxson of Athens, Bert Prater of Decatur and Laura and Greg Mitchell of Saraland. His great-grandparents are Glynn and Ermogene Laxson and Fred and Robbie Nell Robertson, all of Athens, Margarita Guitart of Decatur and Mr. and Mrs. Fernando Lecuona of Ormond Beach, Florida, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Prater and Miguel Guitart.
