County arrests
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Tuesday:
• April Nicole Glossup, 35, of 14759 Happy Hollow Road, Elkmont, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, attempt to elude law enforcement, and probation revoked on previous conviction for distribution of a controlled substance ((Limestone County Community Corrections Program)
• Howard Eroy Hammond, 38, of 1205 Bethlehem Church Road, Russellville, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts Tuesday:
• ATHENS – Two tool bags with tools, Plano tackle box and set of clamps, total value $450, stolen between July 5 and 6 in 29100 block Bean Road
• ATHENS – Lawnmower lift, value $110, scrap metal and grill grates, no value given, stolen July 2 in 500 block Sanderfer St.
• ATHENS – Vehicle FHD 1080P DVR, value $50, taken during breaking and entering of a vehicle between July 5 and 7 in 25100 block Sardis Springs Road
• ATHENS – 2006 Ford 150 truck, no value given, stolen July 7 in 18000 block Circle Drive
City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:
• Christina Deshon Banks, 35, of 704 Second Ave., Athens, third-degree theft
• Quann Jerome Coleman, 18, of 24573 McClung Lane, Athens, third-degree theft
• Tony Anthony Coleman, 22, of 24573 McClung Lane, Athens, bond revocation
• Lauren Hilarie Isom, 26, of 23606 U.S. 72 East, Athens, third-degree theft
• Sekeeta Nicole Orr, 26, of 2410 Gas Light Place, Apt. 7, Decatur, third-degree theft
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts and incidents Tuesday:
• Toy Hot Wheel set, packages of chalk paint, pistachio nuts and puzzle blue glue, two pieces of flatware and two cellphone screen covers, total value $59, stolen July 7 at Wal-Mart
• Criminal mischief to mirror on 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer, and trailer, total value $559, between July 5 and 7 in 14000 block Cherokee Trail
• Merchandise, value $123, stolen July 8 at Wal-Mart
