Yankee doodle dandies celebrate Independence Day

- Bill Wojciechowski proudly portrays “Uncle Sam” in the spirit of Independence Day. The getup was passed down by Wojciechowski’s brother, Claude Jones, a Vietnam-era veteran, who died last year. Today, Wojciechowski will be at Ark of Promise Church, located at the former Reid Elementary School, selling fireworks for a fundraiser. Proceeds go to the church’s building fund.
