Trojans bring back Red Map

The Athens Bible baseball team captured the state runner-up trophy Friday during the Class 1A finals against No. 1 St. Luke’s at Riverwalk Stadium.

The No. 4 Trojans finished the season 28-10.

The Athens softball team advanced to the eight-team Class 5A state tournament at Lagoon Park, finishing the season at 40-19 after falling to Briarwood Christian and Rehobeth on Thursday.
