The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Monday:
• Benita Nickole Collier, 34, of 200 E. Sanderfer Road, Apartment 213-B, Athens, three counts of negotiating worthless negotiable instrument
• Maverick LaBarron Dortch, 23, of 16609 Blackburn Road, Lot 6, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)
• Jason David Hendrix, 32, of 469 Highland Drive, Madison, driving under the influence of alcohol
• Megan Candace Hodge, 22, of 25925 Alabama 99, Elkmont, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia
• Jay W. Skinner, 22, of 19675 Looney Road, Athens, third-degree receiving stolen property
• William Cruz Arispe, 18, of 306 N. Hine St., Athens, bond revocation on original charge of first-degree criminal mischief
• Christopher Shawn Linville, 39, of 1715 S. Scott St., Scottsboro, DUI (any substance) and reckless driving
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported no thefts Monday.
City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Monday:
• Taroashasta Hawkins, 32, of 3526 U.S. 31 S., Apartment 9-E, Decatur, probation violation of an original conviction for third-degree theft
• Kenneth Latawn Bolden, 24, of 3114 Sandlin Road SW, Decatur, domestic violence (harassment)
• Dana Alan Green, 43, of 2038 Lindsay Lane South, Athens, public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia
• Kelley Lee Scott, 44, of 28804 Brook Drive, Toney, DUI (combined)
• Tracy Lynn Simon, 36, of 602 Grace Ave., Athens, DUI (controlled substance)
• Norman Gerald Lane, 44, of 1500 U.S. 72, Country Hearth Inn, Athens, two counts of negotiating worthless negotiable instrument (Limestone County); second-degree theft of property (Athens)
• Jonathan Wayne Scott, 28, of 28133 Falcon Lane, Elkmont, second-degree theft
• Jerry Wayne Thompson, 34, of 708 Westmoreland Ave., Athens, DUI
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts and incidents Monday:
• LG 32-inch flat screen LCD TV, valued at $300, stolen during a burglary Friday in the 2200 block of Windscape Drive
• Apple 4S I-Phone, wallet and U.S. Currency, total value $705, stolen Friday from the 700 block of South Houston Street
• Criminal mischief resulting in $300 damage to a 40-inch Sanyo T, on Friday or Saturday at Travel Inn, 1218 Kelli Drive
• Miscellaneous merchandise, a Vizio soundbar, and a 40-inch Vizio TV, total value $1,121.69, stolen Sunday from Wal-Mart
