Devin Mark Rogers and Elizabeth Jane Murray

Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Murray of Athens announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Jane Murray, to Devin Mark Rogers, son of Dr. and Mrs. Gregory Mark Rogers of Rome, Ga.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jane Murray of Louisville, Ky., and the late Lowell Murray and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Moseley.

She is a 2008 honors graduate of Athens Bible School and a 2013 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition.  As an undergraduate, she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi.

She is employed at a Georgia children’s hospital as a dietitian.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pickard of Nashville, Tenn., and Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Rogers of Lexington, Ky.

He is a 2007 honors graduate of Rome High School in Rome, Ga., and a 2010 summa cum laude graduate of the University of Kentucky where he received Bachelor of Science degree in biology.  As an undergraduate he was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. He is currently attending the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Ga.

The wedding ceremony and reception are planned for Saturday, April 12 in Mooresville.
