Rennie and Dean Bodden of Utila, Honduras, announce the engagement of their daughter, Dell Schardin Bodden to Jarrod Stewart Brown of Huntsville, son of Norman and Stephanie Brown of Athens. 

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Curby Rivera of La Ceiba, Honduras and the late Aileen Rivera, Howard Bodden, and Vida Bodden.

She is a 2003 graduate of Utila Seventh Day Adventist School and a 2008 graduate of Southern Adventist University where she received a bachelor’s degree in psychology.  She also holds a Master of Business Administration degree in human resources. She is employed by Verizon Wireless as a global enterprise advisor. 

The prospective groom is the grandson of Joe and Polly Leopard and Rene Brown, all of Athens, and the late Joe Brown.

He is a 2005 graduate of Athens High School. He is employed by Verizon Wireless in technical support. 

The wedding is planned for June 6, at Annabella at Cedar Glen in Huntsville.
