County arrests

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• Christopher Demond Carter, 24, of 122 Hammond Road, Harvest, possession of a controlled substance

• Herman Cartwright Jr., 33, of 24095 Fennell Lane, Tanner, grand jury indictments for trafficking marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia

• Kasie Danielle Dugger, 22, of 27824 Thach Road, Athens, driving under the influence of drugs, second-degree possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia

• Arnie Randall Smalley, 57, of 14842 Chris Way, Lot 28, Athens, public intoxication

County thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following incidents and thefts Monday:

• ATHENS – JL Audio XD 700/5 amplifier and 10-inch subwoofer, JVC touch screen CD player, iPod Touch and iPod Nano with camera, total value $3,299, taken during breaking and entering of a vehicle Nov. 30 in 16000 block Tremont Drive

• ATHENS – Two air guns/tools, metric/standard tools and two five-gallon gas cans, total value $825, stolen between Nov. 29 and 30 in 16000 block Woodhaven Drive

• ATHENS – Dell laptop computer, valued at $800, taken during breaking and entering of a vehicle Nov. 30 in 16000 block Woodhaven Drive

• LESTER – Visa debit card, Walmart gift card and cash, total value $213, stolen between Nov. 25 and 30 in 30000 block of Lester Road

• MADISON – Two Xbox 360 games, two Xbox 360 game controllers, two DVDs and Apple iPod 2nd Generation, total value $415, stolen Nov. 26 in 30000 block U.S. 72

City arrests

Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• Nicolas C. Guerrero, 23, of 10988 Stewart Road, Tanner, DUI

• Brian Keith Mason, 27, of 3000 Ivey Ave., Apt. 51-D, Huntsville, sell and distribution of dangerous drugs

City thefts

Athens Police Department reported the following thefts and incidents Monday:

• Reliance Bank debit card,  GM HSVC credit card, black wallet, cash, Reliance Bank checkbook, miscellaneous papers and Alabama driver’s license, total value $176, taken during the breaking and entering of a Buick Lucerne Nov. 29 in 100 block North Jefferson Street

• RCA portable TV, valued at $100, burglarized between Nov. 20 and 30 in 1200 block East Pryor Street

• Chevrolet headlight, valued a $100, damaged in criminal mischief Nov. 30 in 100 block North Jefferson Street

• Chevrolet Malibu, valued at $2,000, stolen Dec. 1 in 15000 block Lucas Ferry Road

• Hood and windows damaged on Cadillac Deville, valued at $1,500, in criminal mischief Dec. 1 in 700 flock Fifth Avenue

• Five breakfast meals, valued at $52, stolen Dec. 1 in 1400 block U.S. 72 East

• Huffy brand 16-inch orange and black bicycle with orange seat and red and black bicycle, total value $100,  stolen Dec. 1 in 1300 block Henry Drive

• Window screen, valued at $15, damaged in criminal mischief Dec. 2 in 200 block Texas Street

• $20 in change taken during the breaking and entering of a vehicle Dec. 2 in 17000 block Jeffery Street

• Two driver and passenger side windows, valued at $400, on Dodge Ram 1500 van damaged during breaking and entering of a vehicle between Dec. 2 and 3 in 400 block West Green Street

• Three porch lights, valued at $150, damaged during criminal mischief between Feb. 3 and Dec. 3 in 400 block West Green Street

• Window of Ford E3Spacer, valued at $300,  damaged in criminal mischief between Nov. 30 and Dec. 3 in the parking lot of Emergency Management Agency and Department of Human Resources

• Double pane window, valued at $600, damaged in criminal mischief between Dec. 2 and 3 in 400 block West Green Street

• Window, valued at $500, damaged in criminal mischief Dec. 3 in 200 block South Madison Street

• Shopping cart of miscellaneous groceries, valued at $60, stolen Dec. 2 at Hometown Grocery, 608 Jefferson St.

• Samsung RV515-A03 laptop computer and laptop computer case, total value $425, stolen between Oct. 20 and Dec. 1 in 900 block North Beaty Street
