Wedding: Jackson-Dow

Meaghan Grey Jackson of Athens and Brendan Kyle Dow of Enterprise were married in a 6:30 p.m. ceremony Sept. 1 at Creekside Plantation in Mooresville with Kenneth Straugn officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Andy and Shane Jackson of Athens. She is the granddaughter of Mamie Lou and Tom Harrison and the late Buster and Betty Romine and Walton Jackson.

The groom is the son of Brian and Karen Dow of Enterprise. He is the grandson of Loren and Darlene Dow and Hazel Lindsey and the late R.J. Lindsey.

The bride was given in marriage by her father Andy Jackson.

The matron of honor was Brittney Catherine Dunn, sister of the bride. Bridal attendants were Dru Anna Jackson, Dana Jackson, Nancy Romine Minkler, Lindsey Dow, Alison Bivens, Mallory Davis, Brooke Williams, Adrienne Merrett, Mary Jameson, Emily Ray, Shelby Robinson, Laura Beth Smith, Katrina Elkins, Ashley Robinson and Lindsey Townsend. Junior bridesmaids are Brianna Turner, Annie Catherine Dunn and Meg Jackson. Honoraries were Jennifer Hall and Christy Stewart.

The flower girls were Anna Townsend and Reagan Jackson.

Jordan Dow served as best man. Groomsmen were Brian Dow, Rodney Jackson, Jeffrey Dunn, Allan Lindsey, Jay Martin, Mark Jipson, Brian Hundley, Trey Montgomery, Gabe Childs, Calvin Cassady, Pep Pfluke, Justin Jones, Doug Watkins, Michael Cumbie and Deval Williams.

The ringbearer was Riggs Ryan Dunn and bridal announcement sign holder was Garrett Dunn.

Music was provided by Chris Slayton.

The guest register was kept by Audra Williams and Jessica Jackson.

A reception followed the ceremony at Creekside Plantation.

Wedding coordinator was Carla Lynn, the floral designer was Lisa Atkins and the wedding videographer was Josh Frantz of Idoflix in Birmingham.

The couple will reside in Trussville.
