Hannah Scott Cole and Jesse Ray Cobb

Charles and Rhae Brock of Athens and Cecil and Jean Cole of Decatur announce the engagement of their daughter, Hannah Scott Cole of Athens, to Jesse Ray Cobb of Athens, son of Robert and Debbie Knapper of Athens and Tony and Lisa Cobb of Harvest.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Virginia Scott Cole of Decatur, the late John Lavelle Cole and the late Raymond and Elizabeth Spaulding.

She is a 2007 graduate of Clements High School and a 2011 graduate of J.F. Drake State Technical College in Huntsville, where she earned her licensed practical nurse certification. She is employed by Limestone Health Facility in Athens.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Bonnie Turner of Athens, Jerry Flannagan of Athens, Sue Smiley of Falkville and the late Talmadge Cobb.

He is a 2007 graduate of Clements High School and a 2010 graduate of the Alabama Criminal Justice Training Center in Selma. He is employed as a corrections officer by the Alabama Department of Corrections.

The wedding is planned for Sept. 15 at Doublehead Resort in Town Creek.
