Madison Michayla Gilliam, daughter of Jason and Bethany Gilliam of Athens, celebrated her first birthday May 26 at a monkey party. His birthday is May 31. She is the granddaughter of Wade and Connie Shannon and Steve and Diane Gilliam. Her great-garnparents are Glenn and Betty Bracken and Irene Burt and the late David Burt, the late Dan and Mable Shannon,  and the late Charlie and Ione Gilliam. Madison has one sister, Alyssa.
