County arrests

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Friday and Saturday:

• Christopher Louis Brumley, 35, of 3033 Autumn Wood Drive, Apt. A, Huntsville, five counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Neftali Lasboy Guzman, 24, of 4009 Eunice St., Apt. 10, Huntsville, hold for Immigration and Customs Enforcement

• Tony Lewis Redding, 31, of 30208 East Railroad St., Ardmore, Tenn., violated probation on previous conviction for third-degree theft

• Marvin Van Riggs, 26, of 708 Clinton St., Athens, burglary (warrant from Winchester, Ind.)

• Gelacio Evangelista Santos, 41, of 14473 Bledsoe Road, Athens, hold for Immigration and Customs Enforcement

• Charles Morgan Thornton, 50, of 2094 Jackson Clinic Road, Minor Hill, Tenn., two counts of theft and one count of breaking and entering a vehicle (grand jury indictments)

• Manuel Campos, 46, of 705 Coleman Ave., Athens, holding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement

• Brett Edgar Haggermaker, 25, of 1743 Hannah Branch Road, Prospect, Tenn., first-degree theft, and probation revoked on previous conviction for third-degree theft (for Athens Police Department)

• Harlon Lane Haggermaker, 18, of 23811 Pepper Farm Lane, Elkmont, third-degree assault

• Aaron Stephen Hedge, 22, of Rogers, Ark., driving under the influence (any substance)

• Adam Harley Howard, 22, of 21917 Stinnett Hollow Road, Athens, bond revoked on previous charge of third-degree domestic violence

• Andrew Reid Lackey, 28, of 107 Cline Drive, Madison, holding for court

• James Edward Lindner, 46, of 1308 Tommy Lane, Athens, 10 counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Elizabeth Dates Peterson, 28, of 1001 W. Pryor St., Athens, chemical endangerment of a child

• Donald William Tibbs, 34, of 1101 U.S. 31 South, Room 223, Bomar Inn, Athens, third-degree criminal trespassing

•  Moises Volencia Valentin, 46, of 19261 Airfield St., Lot 20, Athens, probation revoked on previous conviction for DUI

County thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported no thefts Friday.

City arrests

Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Friday:

• Freddy Alvarez, 22, of 15411 McCormick Lane, Athens, no insurance and expired tag (sentenced to 25 days)

• Chad Dewayne Lovell, 33, of 1711 W. Elm St., Apt. 59, Athens, driving while license is revoked (sentenced to 21 days)

City thefts

Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Thursday and Friday:

• Metal lock cover valued at $5 damaged due to criminal mischief July 10 or 11 in 19000 block Alabama 127

• Alabama license plate 44B76V2 valued at $25 stolen from CAI Auto Shop on East Elm Street between June 4 and July 11

• Garmin brand GPS and wallet containing cash and Regions Bank debit card, total $364, stolen during vehicle break-in July 8 or 9 in 100 block Crutcher Street

• Makeup valued at $20 stolen July 12 from 600 block South Jefferson Street

• Twenty-five music CDs valued at $150 stolen during vehicle break-in July 12 or13 in 100 block U.S. 31 North

• Bag of canned goods and set of automobile ramps, total $100, stolen July 15 or 16 from 600 block North Malone Street
