Matthew Wayne Sirten, son of Darrin and Sabrina Sirten of Athens, celebrated his first birthday June 30, at a Mickey Mouse party. His birthday was June 27. He is the grandson of Sue and Bernard Sirten, Connie Smith,  and Stanley Silas, all of Athens. His great-grandparents are Jimmy and Jannette Hacker. Matthew has one sister, Destiny Cheyenne Silas, 9.
