Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• David Allen Byars Jr., 36, of 118 Barnes Hollow Road, Fayetteville, Tenn., bond revoked on previous charges of second-degree assault and menacing

• Daniel Lee Hargrove, 28, of 13476 Marks Drive, Athens, DUI

• Adam Mathew Kyle, 31, of 18066 East Limestone Road, Athens, first-degree assault

• Julyn Dewayne Posey Sr., 46, of 16929 Huntsville-Browns Ferry Road, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (menacing)

• Candice Renee Tapscott, 29, of 1604 Thomas Drive, Decatur, negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Steven Leon Bivens, 43, of 18129 Hightower Road, Athens, possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication

• Leobardo Martinez Cruz, 27, of 1419 N. Jefferson St., Athens, DUI, no insurance and no driver’s license

• Crystal Dawn Garrison, 38, of 204 Marie Lane, Apt. 1, Russellville, driving while suspended

• Matthew Travis Gee, 24, of 19170 Alabama 99, Athens, public intoxication

County thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Monday:

• BELLE MINA — Eight New York Mets jerseys and cash, total $365, stolen during burglary June 28 or 29 in 6000 block Mooresville Road

• ATHENS — Starke brand generator, Craftsman toolbox, battery charger, Dewalt reciprocating saw, Yamaha guitar, 5-gallon can and 4-foot wood level, total $1,300, stolen during burglary in 15000 block Mill Valley Drive between May 1 and June 29

• ATHENS — Golf cart and patio table and four chairs, total $3,950, stolen June 29 from 18000 block Belmont Circle

• ELKMONT — Candy, soft drinks and water, total $90, stolen during burglary June 27 or 28 at Elkmont baseball field  

• ELKMONT — Medication of unknown value stolen June 27 or 28 from 23000 block Slate Road

• ATHENS — Dell brand computer, Lexmark printer and Samsung cellphone, total $545, stolen during burglary June 29 in 19000 block Piney Chapel Road 

• ATHENS — Border collie mix puppy of undetermined value stolen July 2 from 20000 block Elkton Road

City arrests

Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• Charles Edward Anderson, 48, 204 Luke St., Athens, DUI, driving while license is revoked and driving without insurance

• Reshanna LaShae Cole, 28, of 1503 Sherman St., Decatur, driving under the influence

• Matthews Wayne Sims, 21, of 26016 Hays Mille Road, Elkmont, DUI

• Steven Leon Bivens, 43, of 18129 Hightower Road, Athens, possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication

• Johnathan Lamar Woods, 20, of 17795 Ezell St., Athens, failing to pay child support

• Harley Levi Stillwell, 48, of 352 Millport Road, Joppa, DUI

City thefts

Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Monday:

• Ruger brand firearm, throwing star in plastic case, six knives, one survival knife and kit and one machete, total $185, stolen during burglary June 28 in 700 block U.S. 31 South

• Wooden door sustained $250 damage during burglary in 600 block Norton Drive between June 25 and 27

• Monday, Alabama I.D. card, blue tooth device, credit cards, driver’s license, U.S. residence card and Social Security card, total $690, stolen during vehicle break-in June 29 or 30 in 200 block Crutcher Street

• Lunch box and tool bag containing miscellaneous tools, total $240, stolen June 29 or 30 from 1200 block West Elm Street

• City of Athens garbage can valued at $40 stolen from 1400 block Redbud Street between June 27 and 30

• DVD player, Nintendo game console, 14 video games and three movies stolen during vehicle break-in June 28 or 29 in 200 block Crutcher Circle

• Front glass sustained $100 damage due to criminal mischief July 1 in 200 block South Jefferson Street

• Living room rug, leather chair and other items, total $1,000, stolen during burglary in 1400 block Tower Street between June 30 and July 1

• Two Social Security cards, two I.D. cards, two driver’s licenses, two wallets, cellphone, Family Security Credit Union account card, food stamp card and cash, total $153, stolen during vehicle break-in July 1 from 1000 block North Malone Street

• Christopher Bailey, 33, of Ardmore was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 1:20 a.m. Saturday, four miles south of Ardmore on Alabama 251 — State troopers
