Doris and Tom Davis Sr. of Athens celebrated their 50th anniversary June 30 at Hobbs Street Church of Christ in Athens. The celebration was hosted by their children.

Mr. and Mrs. Davis were married June 30, 1962, in Athens. They have five children, Diane Travis of Pulaski, Tenn.; Tom Davis Jr. of Decatur; Donna Fletcher of Rosenberg, Texas; Dawn Watkins of Winfield; and DeAunn Snider of Salt Lake City, Utah; and eight grandchildren, Brandon, Kristen, Jason, Cody, Christopher, Josh, Benjamin, and Heather; and two great-grandchildren, Parker and Gentry.
