Jerry and Betty Gatlin of Athens will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary today at First Baptist Church in Decatur.

The celebration is hosted by the Gatlin children and grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Gatlin were married June 16, 1962, in Athens.

They have two children, Kathy Coffey and husband Greg, and Kristy Knight and husband John, and two grandchildren, Paizley and Tyde Coffey.
