Stephanie Leigh Ikard and William Franklin Stanford

Mrs. Barbara F. Ikard of Meridianville announces the engagement of her daughter, Stephanie Leigh Ikard, to William Franklin Stanford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Franklin Stanford of Athens.

The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Jerry Wayne Ikard.

She is a 1991 graduate of Randolph School and a 1994 cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama where she received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and minor in computer science. She received her master’s degree in accounting from the University of Alabama in 1995 and is a member of Delta Zeta sorority.

She is a certified public accountant and is employed by IMCO Inc. as the chief financial officer.

The prospective groom is a 1989 graduate of Athens Bible School and a 1994 graduate of Athens State University where he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

He is employed by Allstate as a financial representative.

The wedding is planned for July 14 at Twickenham Church of Christ in Huntsville.
