William Russell Lane and Tristan Delle Curry

Terry and Terri Curry of Athens announce the engagement of their daughter, Tristan Delle Curry to William Russell Lane, son of Ben of Dana Lane of Linden.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Wendell and Shirlene Curry and Billy “Button” Haney, all of Athens.

She is a 2005 graduate of Athens High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical and aerospace engineering.

She is employed by Teledyne Brown Engineering in Huntsville as  a launch vehicle systems analyst.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Susie Brame Lane of Clyattville, Ga., and the late Russell Owen Lane, William Keith Evans and Carolyn Whitlock Evans.

He is a 2002 graduate of Marengo Academy in Linden and a 2007 graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical and aerospace engineering.

He is employed by NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville as a ground support equipment systems engineer.
