Elijah Gene Wheeler, son of Jerry and Linsey Wheeler of Killen, celebrated his third birthday Jan. 28 at a Cat in the Hat party. His birthday is Jan. 12. He is the grandson of Gene and Shamblee Cathey and Jerry and Janet Wheeler, all of Athens. His great-grandparents are Anne Beard of Brighton, Tenn., Frank and Shirley Cathey of Drummonds, Tenn., Tony Troyani of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Becky Troyani of Goodlettsville, Tenn., and the lat Ray Beard. Elijah has a brother and sister, Carson, 5, and Madelyn, 2 months.
