W.A. and Margie Hardiman of Athens celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary March 3 at their residence.

Mr. and Mrs. Hardiman were married March 1, 1947 in Athens.

They have five children, Joyce and Ed Hopper of Athens, Gerald and Candy Hardiman of Springfield, Tenn., Janet and Ray Wilkinson of Trinity, Joey and Donna Hardiman of Franklin, Tenn., and the late Jerry Hardiman, as well as their niece, Charlotte Turner of Athens. They have 11 grandchildren, Matthew Hardiman of Atlanta, Josh Hardiman and Sara Hardiman, both of Huntsville, Alicia Hopper of Athens, Zak Haridman and Austin Hardiman, both of Franklin, Tenn., Terra Jackson of Auburn, Ky., Will McKenzie of Owensboro, Ky., Blake Haggermaker, Bentley Haggermaker and Brooklyn Haggermaker, all of Decatur. They also have one great nephew Dennis Turner of Athens, and two great-grandchildren Emma Jackson and Collin Jackson, both of Auburn, Ky.
