Limestone County Sheriff’s investigators were in the West Limestone community at about 11 a.m. responding to what they described as an explosion or fire at a suspected meth lab.

The fire apparently began when meth was placed in a wood-burning stove.

Emergency personnel and HAZMAT officials were dispatched to 11140 Harrison Road.

A reporter for The News Courier is on her way to the scene.
