Flo Parlier

Flo Parlier recently turned 94. Born in West Jefferson, N.C., she was married to Spurgeon Parlier for 67 years before he passed six years ago. The couple had one child, Jim Parlier.

The Parliers lived in Cleveland, Ohio, for many years before retiring to Athens where they lived for more than 30 years. They were active members of Market Street Church of Christ.

For the past four years, Flo has lived with her son Jim and daughter-in-law Peggy in Tennessee. She has seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Flo said she enjoys her new home and the beautiful scenery of the Tennessee mountains. Most of all, she enjoys attending Kingsport Church of Christ.
