Ashley Durham and Todd Schrimsher Jr., both of Athens, were married in a 6:30 p.m. ceremony May 21 at Lake Forest in Huntsville with Byron Fritz officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Alan and Shelley Durham of Athens. She is the granddaughter of Dan and Sally Peterman of Florence and the late Robert and Evelyn Durham.

The groom is the son of Jimmy and Bonita Schrimsher of Athens. He is the grandson of Charles Schrimsher  and Mack Cribbs, both of Athens, and the late Sarah Schrimsher, Mary Joyce Cribbs and Gilbert Newby.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Bridal attendants were Cassie Ingrum, Amanda Compton, Tiffany Smith, Kristin Frisbie, Amanda Borden and Brittany Durham. The flower girls were Mary Grace Borden and Lila Smith.

Jimmy Schrimsher served as best man. Groomsmen were Jeremy McLaughlin, Ben Romine, Josh Borden and Nathan Durham.

Music was provided by Cristina Lynn and Russ Holder.

The guest register was kept by Katie Rickard.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Lake Forest lakehouse.

After a wedding trip to Nassau, Bahamas, the couple returned home to Huntsville.
