Katie Leigh Ruf of Athens and Justin Michael Blair of Madison were married June 18 at Founders Hall at Athens State University with the Rev. John M. Ryberg officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Jack and Cathy Lamb and Donnie Ruf, all of Athens. She is the granddaughter of Robert Paulk of Athens and Juanita Lamb of Guntersville and the late Anne Paulk, Jack Lamb and Thelma and David Ruf Sr.

The groom is the son of Carl and Elaine Blair of Madison. He is the grandson of the late Nolan and Vera Blair and William and Dorothy Backmeyer.

The bride was given in marriage by her great uncle Charles Robert Christopher.

The maid of honor was Bonnie Brooke Ruf. Bridal attendants were Stacey Kay Blair, Erin Robinson Elkins, Jamie Elizabeth Noles and Joy Ellen Whitt. The flower girl was Avery Kathleen Ruf.

Christopher Nolan Blair served as best man. Groomsmen were Clinton Robert Lamb, Jacob Austin Lamb, Seth Brian Morris and Richard Arthur Thorne. The ringbearer was David Preston Haney and Bible bearer was Jaret Young Douthit.

Music was provided by Daniel Norwood.

The guest register was kept by Mindy Sturdivant Dennis and Lynsy Whitlock Newman. Program attendants were Olivia Marie Butler, Caitlin Collins Christopher, Jenna Nichole Douthit, Ashlyn Kate Ruf and Samuel Rhodes Wales.

The couple live in Athens.
