David Tyler Croomes and Ashlee Nicole Eaton

Melody Eaton of Athens announces the engagement of her daughter, Ashlee Nicole Eaton, to David Tyler Croomes, son of Scott and Nancy Croomes of Athens.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Robbie Nell Eaton of Athens and the late Emmett Eaton.

She is a 2011 graduate of the University of Alabama where she received a Bachelor of Art degree in psychology and communication studies.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Wilford and Adell Dollins and Betty Croomes, all of Athens, and the late Edgar Croomes.

He is a 2010 graduate of the University of Alabama where he received a Bachelor of Art degree in telecommunication and film.

He is employed by TOMA Advertising in Phoenix, Ariz., as a commercial editor.

The wedding is planned for June 11 at The Rose Garden at Delano Park in Decatur.
