Ryan Kurt Lee and Heather Daniele Wales

Toney and Pam Wales of Trinity announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Daniele Wales, to Ryan Kurt Lee, son of Randy and Rhonda Lee of Trinity.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Raymond Wales Jr., and Jimmy and Betty White, all of Elkmont, and James and Gayle Reyer of Athens and the late Shelby Wales and Anthony Carter. She is the great-granddaughter of Mildred Carter of Elkmont.

She is a 2005 graduate of West Morgan High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Alabama where she received a Bachelor of Social Work degree.

She is employed by Volunteers of America in Hartselle as a residential coordinator.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Rachel Lee of Trinity, Dorothy Partain of Hartselle and the late Murphy Lee and Milford Partain.

He is a 2002 graduate of East Lawrence High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Alabama where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences.

He is employed by Northrop Grumman as a environmental regulatory compliance analyst.

The wedding is planned for May 14 at Elkton Road Baptist Church.
