Carla Michelle McLemore and Seth Patrick Lawrence

Carl and Elmina McLemore of Athens announce the engagement of their daughter, Carla Michelle McLemore, to Seth Patrick Lawrence, son of Pat and Becky Lawrence of Athens.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvis McLemore and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Aucoin and Mrs. Carlene McLemore.

She is a 2002 graduate of Athens High School and a 2006 graduate of Athens State University where she received a bachelor’s degree in secondary education in English.

She is employed by Monrovia Middle School as a teacher.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Norman, Bernie Lawrence and the late Jan and Melvin Goode.

He is a 2002 graduate of East Limestone High School and a 2006 graduate of Drake College.

He is employed in Athens.

The wedding is planned for June 4 at Madelyns in the Grove.
