Claire Rose Holt and Brody Scott Jackson

Jennings Jr. and Lorrie Holt of Loretto, Tenn., announce the engagement of their daughter, Claire Rose Holt, to Brody Scott Jackson, son of Billy and Rita Jackson of Athens.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Jennings and Wilma Holt and Chris and Rita Hollmann.

She is a 2004 graduate of Loretto High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville where she received a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering.

She is employed as a systems engineer with the Tennessee Valley Authority at Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant in Athens.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Thomas and Evelyn Jackson of Athens and the late Otis and Opal Sanders.

He is a 2004 graduate of West Limestone High School.

He is employed by the City of Athens with Athens Utilities.

The wedding is planned for May 20 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Loretto, Tenn.
