Katie Lyn Kyle, the daughter of Chad and Anita Kyle of the Goodsprings Community, celebrated her first birthday on April 23 at a Sesame Street party. Her birthday is April 12. She is the granddaughter of Kenneth and Irene Tarpley of Athens and the late Bobby and Ann Kyle. She is the great-granddaughter of Eugene White of the Goodsprings Community, Athalee Goodin of Athens, and Kathleen Tarpley of Leggtown. Katie Lyn has two sisters,  Ellise, 12 and JuliAnn, 3.
