She is the granddaughter of Donald and Melody Evans of Athens and Mike and Connie Gough of Madison. Her great-grandparents are Robert and Annie Ruth Evans and Doris and Shorty Bates, all of Athens, and Fay Thrasher of Collinwood, Tenn.
