Megan Hope Adams and Adam Justin Keenum, both of Boaz were married in a 6 p.m. ceremony Nov. 13, 2010, at Mount Vernon Baptist Church with David Martin officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Rex and Kelly Adams of Boaz. Her grandparents are Ricky and Mary Burke and George and Faye Adams, all of Boaz. Her great-grandparents are Vera Burke of Boaz and the late Waymon Burke.

The groom is the son of Noel and Janice Keenum of Athens. His grandparents are Clarise Bloodworth of Athens and Jane Keenum of Decatur and the late Raymond McBay and Joseph Keenum.

The bride was given in marriage by her father Rex Adams. Maid of honor was Melissa Potter and bridal attendants were Haley Keenum and Hollye Keenum, sisters of the groom, Lindsey McCormick, Jerika Scott, Karah Sims, Sara McKnight, Caitlin Whitt and Katie Giles. The flower girl was Kaylan Anderson, cousin of the groom.

Noel Keenum, father of the groom served as best man and groomsmen were Chad Robertson, cousin of the groom, Jason McBay, cousin of the groom, Jabin Adams, brother of the bride, and Jordan Steele, Skyler Bunch, Matthew Lamb, Hunter Royer and Wes Hopper. The ringbearer was Kaiden Adams.

Music was provided by Sara McKnight. The wedding was directed by Ginger Young and Laurel Burns.

A reception followed the ceremony at Mount Vernon Church.

After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple returned home to Boaz.
