William Preston Sonnier and Natalie Elizabeth Austin

Mr. and  Mrs. Steven Austin of Athens announce the engagement of their daughter, Natalie Elizabeth Austin of Mobile, to William Preston Sonnier of Mobile, son of Dr. and Mrs. Marc Sonnier Sr., of Mobile.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Austin of Tullahoma, Tenn., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lewis.

She is a 2004 graduate of Athens High School and a graduate of The University of Alabama where she received a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in marketing.  She is employed by Target Corporation as an executive.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Stanfield of Mobile, and the late Mr. William C. Wilson, and the late Mr. and Mrs. P. Elmore Sonnier.

He is a 2005 graduate of Baker High School in Mobile and a graduate of The University of Alabama where he received a bachelor’s degree in microbiology.  He is currently attending the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile where he is seeking a medical degree.

A summer wedding is planned.
