David “Webb” Webster Glanton, the son of Shane and Clarissa Glanton of Athens celebrated his ninth birthday March 25 at a baseball party. He is the grandson of David and Alice Glanton of Elkmont, Jackie Sims of Athens and the late Larry Sims. His great-grandparents are Annie Lou Ridgeway and Evelyn Marbut of Athens, the late Webb and Ruth Glanton, the late Winford and Eugenia Sims and the late J.B. and Edith Marbut. Webb has one brother,  Jack “Wynn” Wynford, 3, and one sister, Lillian Claire, 11.
