Jason Fontane McLin and Kirsten Whitney Lankford

Jerry and Glenda Lankford of Athens announce the engagement of their daughter, Kirsten Whitney Lankford, to Jason Fontane McLin, son of Ennis Sr. and Joyce McLin of Athens.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Sammie Mae Lankford and Lethaniel and Mable Garner, all of Huntsville, and the late Percy Lee Lankford.

She is a 2000 graduate of Elkmont High School.

She is employed by 1st Community Credit as an assistant manager.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Rosie Mae Baker of Athens and the late Willie Bill and Lila Mae McLin and Jeff Baker.

He is a 1995 graduate of Athens High School.

He is employed at Cintas Corporation as a production leader.

The wedding planned for Sept. 3 at the residence of Ennis and Joyce McLin.
