County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:

• Edward Dean Brandon, 38, of 20064 Townsend Ford Road, Lot 8, Athens, three counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• John Clifford Fitzgerald, 39, of 806 N. Beaty St., Athens, three counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Joshua Daniel Hineman, 20, of 1213 Willow Brook Drive, Apt. 5, Huntsville, public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia

• Christina Renee Maynard, 32, of 203 Lawrence County 435, Moulton, third-degree criminal trespass and harassing communications

• Cody Ross Moore, 22, of 9822 County Corner Road, Athens, fraudulent use of a credit card

• Jeffery Ryan Solomon, 26, of 1308 Elkton St., Athens, violating terms of probation on previous conviction for attempting to commit a controlled substance crime

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following theft Tuesday:

• Fisher brand fireplace insert valued at $300 stolen Jan. 28 from 29000 block McKee Road

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrest Tuesday:

• Steven Heath Solomon, 33, of 26077 Fall Way, Ardmore, possession of a controlled substance, second-degree possession of marijuana, possession of brass knuckles and possession of drug paraphernalia

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:

• Two crowbars, spade, jumper cables and McCulloch brand chain saw, total $490, stolen from yard at 805 N. Malone St. between Jan. 29 and 31

• Bench grinder, Sears brand kerosene heater, cordless drill, two Black & Decker brand electric drills, jig saw, orbital sander, electric chainsaw and Black & Decker skill saw, total $830, stolen during burglary Jan. 25 or 26 at 1101 S. Madison St.

• Large boxwood valued at $200 damaged due to criminal mischief Jan. 30 at 1403 Brownsferry St.

• Failure to deliver car title for Jeep Cherokee at 515 S. Hine St., D-14, between Oct. 1, 2010, and Jan. 31

Wrecks

• Dejoire Sade Fletcher, Jasmune Fletcher, Marquita Bridgeforth, Tybreka Rodgers and Kiara Bridgeforth, all of Athens, injured in wreck at 8:07 a.m. Jan. 31 on Sanderfer Road between Sanderfer and Scotland drives, according to Athens Police

• Randy Dean Thomas, Athens, injured in Jan. 31 wreck on Nick Davis Road between Hall Road and Buckskin Drive, according to Athens Police

Athens-Limestone Hospital reported no admissions or discharges Tuesday.
