Heather Nicole Robertson of Athens and Terrance Mark Aragon Jr. of Huntsville were married in a 3 p.m. ceremony Sept. 26 at Monte Sano Lodge with Pastor John Dees officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Wendy Robertson of Athens. She is the granddaughter of Helen Carter and Frances McDowell, both of Athens, and the late Charles D. Carter, Paul Robertson Sr., and William McDowell.

The groom is the son of Patti Smitherman of Huntsville and the late Terrance Aragon Sr. and Keith Smitherman. He is the grandson of Bernie Dewart of New Hope, Theresa Aragon and Florentino Aragon, both of Belen, N.M.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Michael Robertson.

Matron of honor was Kristi Webster, a friend of the bride.

Bridal attendants were Whitney Apo and Ashley Smitherman, both sisters of the groom, and Lacy Clark, friend of the bride.

Brian Petrone, a friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Louis Landry, Frank Sumpter and Mo Gonzalez, friends of the groom.

Ushers were Jesse Robertson, brother of the bride and Cory Singleton, friend of the groom.

The ringbearer was Terrance Aragon III, son of the bride and groom.

The guest register was kept by Hannah Hardaway.

A reception followed the ceremony at Monte Sano Lodge. Servers were Melinda Rossetti, Mallory Morring and Cathy Greenhaw.

After a 7-day cruise to the Caribbean, the couple returned to Athens.
