County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:

• Dennis Wayne Brown, 52, of 7901 Greenbrier Road, Madison, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia

• Timothy Allen Chandler, 42, of 110 N. Thomas St., Apt. 314, Athens, driving under the influence and no insurance

• Harold Wayne Taylor, 54, of 24322 Frank Gossett Road, Athens, violating terms of probation on previous conviction for second-degree theft

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:

• Polaris brand four-wheeler, Paslode brand frame and finish nail guns, step ladder, Tapco brand metal brake, total $8,480, stolen from 27000 block Oakgrove Road between Oct. 1 and Dec. 28

• Pioneer compact disc player valued at $250 stolen Dec. 28 from vehicle in 21000 block Piney Chapel Road

• Kenwood compact disc player valued at $300 stolen Dec. 28 from vehicle in 21000 block Piney Chapel Road

• Dewalt brand cordless drills valued at $270 and $600 in cash stolen from 18000 block Lydia Corey Road between Nov. 25 and 30

• Seven cans of cat food, four packages of cat food, 2.5-pound bag of dog food, 4-pound bag of sugar and 12.5 ounce can of Lysol brand spray, total $17.30, stolen Dec. 28 from Dollar General at 12000 block U.S. 72 West; arrested Ricky Eugene Adams, 34, of 780 Dixie Ave. N.E., Apt. 2, Atlanta, third-degree theft and public intoxication in connection with incident

• Donkey valued at $100 lost or stolen from 22000 block New Garden Road between Dec. 23 and 28

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported no new arrests Wednesday.

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:

• Work gloves and men’s neckties, total $30, stolen Dec. 28 from Walmart at 1011 U.S. 72 East

• Woman’s vinyl billfold with blue, pink and yellow design containing $580 in cash, Walmart credit card, Alabama driver’s license and checkbook, total $650, stolen Dec. 26 from 315 Christopher Drive

Hospital report

Athens-Limestone Hospital reported no admissions or discharges Wednesday.
