Spot the History
Come to the Alabama Veterans Museum and Archives through Jan. 8 and play “Spot the History.” Children ages 6 to 12 play for a chance to win one of four $50 U.S. Savings Bonds. Pick up a “Spot the History” sheet when you enter the museum.

Coffee Call
Jerry Hill will sponsor Coffee Call from 8-9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 1, at the Alabama Veterans Museum and Archives. Call the museum at 256-771-7578.
Charity breakfast
Bethel, Tenn., Masonic Lodge No. 194 F&AM will serve a buffet breakfast from 7-9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 1. Proceeds go to charity.
SUNDAY
Yale Spizzwinks(?)
The Yale Spizzwinks(?) will present a community concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, at Lindsay Lane Baptist Church. Proceeds allow the Spizzwinks(?) to tour. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 children 12 and under. Tickets are available at First Presbyterian Church or at the door. For more information, call Margaret Ellen Jackson at 256-431-4898.
