Jerry Crabtree, Alabama Veterans Museum president, Sandy Thompson, museum director, Linda Watson, museum treasurer receive a check from Helen Carter, (board member of Athens Limestone Foundation for Aging & the Alabama Veterans Museum) from proceeds from Bean Day at the Athens Limestone Foundation for Aging. Athens-Limestone Foundation on Aging hosted Bean Day for the first time this year on Friday October 1st, after taking over the event from Athens Fire & Rescue. The 12th annual Bean Day was held at First Baptist Church Family Life Center.
