Guy and Roberta Stanford of Athens celebrated their 69th anniversary Dec. 5 at their home with friends and family. The celebration was hosted by their five sons and daughters-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Stanford were married Dec. 6, 1941. They have five sons, Jimmy Stanford and wife Joan of Athens, Glen Stanford and wife Linda of Athens, Stan Stanford and wife Shelia of Elkmont, Tim Stanford and wife Kathy of Elkmont, and Mark Stanford and wife Margo of Elkmont, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
