Ranelda Lea Scales and Marcus Andri Woods, both of Athens, were married in a 4 p.m. ceremony, Nov. 13, at Round Island Creek Mission Center with the Rev. Robert Rice officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Cleophra Scales of Athens. She is the granddaughter of Fannie M. Scales of Athens.

The groom is the son of Turner and Doris Rogers of Athens. He is the grandson of the late Mozell and Ellie Caldwell.

The bride was given in marriage by her cousin Steven L. Webb II.

The maid of honor was Marquita R. Pryor. Bridal attendants were LaShonda Long, Jessica Jamar and Ella Renae Anderson.

The flower girls were Kallen Bolton and Faith Young.

John D. Malone served as best man. Groomsmen were Timothy McLin, Harold Woods and Ollie McWilliams.

The ringbearer was Tyrek Webb.
