Emily Kate Troedson of Sandstone, Minn., and Joshua Dwight Collins of Athens were married in a 6 p.m. ceremony July 24 at The Dakota Lodge in West St. Paul, Minn., with Jonathan Haynes officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Peter Troedson of Apple Valley, Minn., and the late Diane Troedson.  Her grandparents are the late George and Audrey Rieder. and Bror and Katherine Troedsson.

The groom is the son of Dwight and Betty Faye Collins of Athens. His grandparents are J.T. and Nella Collins and Bill and Betty Link, all of Athens.

After a wedding trip to Northern California, the couple returned home to San Marcos, Texas.
