Alissa Caryn Pressnell of Elkmont and Cullen G. Lovell of Athens were married in a 3:30 p.m. ceremony Aug. 14.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Billie Sue Pressnell of Elkmont. Her grandparents are Annie Sherril Pressnell of Athens, Myra Reaves of Elkmont, and the late Ed Pressnell and Bill Reaves.

The groom is the son of Stephen and Sandra Lovell of Athens. His grandparents are Pauline Lovell of Athens, Gordon and Doris Beck of Columbia, Tenn., and the late Billy Lovell.

The couple had an outdoor ceremony at their new home in West Limestone surrounded by their immediate families.

Jordan Lovell performed the ceremony and music was provided by Jarron Meredith.

After a wedding trip to Tybee Island, Ga., the couple returned home to West Limestone.

On Aug. 28, Cullen and Caryn hosted a picnic reception at their home to celebrate their marriage with friends and family.
