Zander “Slade” Turner, son of Kyle and Cassie Turner of Elkmont, celebrated his third birthday Aug. 28 at a Toy Story 3 party. His birthday is Aug. 25. He is the grandson of Stanley and Carolyn Turner of Elkmont and Kenny and Darlene Turner of Pulaski, Tenn. His great-grandparents are Joyce Herring of Athens, Christine Turner and Arlen and Alice Brown, all of Pulaski. Slade has two brothers, Blaze, 4, and Kierstynn, 1.
