Emily Nicole Miles of Athens and Kevin Scott Boersma of Bismark, Ill., were married in a 5:30 p.m. ceremony June 26 at First Baptist Church in Athens with Joe Teal officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Sid and Jennifer Miles of Athens. She is the granddaughter of Sid and Lorrainna Miles of Elkton, Tenn., and Betty Barrnett of Decatur and the late Johnny Pylant.

The groom is the son of Julie and Scott Boersma of Bismark. He is the grandson of Norma and Jim White and the late Barbra Boersma.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Sid Miles.

Maid of honor was Rebecca Snider. Bridal attendants were Jessica Daniel, Katie Pylant, Megan Daniel, Lindsay Stinmac, Sara Pasco, Jessi Andrews and Krista Bumblaough.

The flower girl was Regan Stinmac.

The best man was Ross Boersma. Groomsmen were Ross Johns, Chris Tisdale, Chris Mourer, Justin Mournout, Matt Cress, Eric Light and Adam Yoder and ushers were Eric Miles, Trey Andrews and Alex Bradfield.

The ringbearer was Mason Boersma.

The guest register was kept by Sarah Stinebaugh.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Club House Café.

After a trip to the beach the couple returned home to McMinnville, Tenn.
