Limestone County authorities believe bones found Monday on a farm off New Cut Road are those of an Indian child, an official said.

Sheriff’s officials were called to the farm to investigate a skull and other bones found by a resident.

Officials believe it could be an old burial ground.

Forensic tests will determine the date of death and other information about the deceased.
